My Background
I have always enjoyed drawing and creative work and I was formally trained as an architect. A travel abroad studio in France in the summer of 1998 started a personal journey with watercolor as a medium and way of working, which remains a standard starting point for much of my work.

Watercolor was the medium that began my way of working, but I have recently started to work in acrylic, oils, and gouache. I have always explored line drawing in my work. I have expanded into using acrylics on larger canvas works, attempting to bring some of the same characteristics of translucency and depth.

I have always enjoyed nature. Many of my works started from an inspiration from something I saw in a sky, natural rock formations, trees, and animals.
